We take the rights of rights holders seriously. On this page you’ll find how to submit a notice of a possible copyright infringement to us, a notice-and-takedown request under the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988, and how we handle it. If the format is familiar, think of it as a DMCA-style notice adapted for the UK.
XtremeHD does not host or stream copyright-protected content itself. The content available through the service comes from external providers. Under the Electronic Commerce (EC Directive) Regulations 2002 we act as a conduit and have no control over how those external sources are put together. If you spot a problem, we’d be grateful if you report it, so we can act where possible or pass the notice on.
Are you a rights holder, or acting on behalf of one? Submit a notice to us at [email protected]. The more complete your notice, the faster we can deal with it.
Notices and questions from rights holders can be sent to [email protected]. Please note in the subject line that it concerns a copyright takedown notice.
We aim to respond to your notice within a reasonable time. For a complete and well-founded notice, we take action as quickly as is reasonably possible, or pass the notice on to the external provider concerned.
Do you disagree with a measure taken in response to a notice? You can submit a counter-notice to [email protected], with supporting reasons and your contact details. We assess counter-notices carefully.
This takedown procedure, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with it, is governed by the law of England & Wales, and the courts of England & Wales have jurisdiction.
